The first-year student move-in day at UC San Diego will take place between September 15 and September 17, 2022. The day of move-in for transfer students is the span of September 17th to September 18th, 2022. The day of move-in for continuing students is September 19, 2022, and it lasts through September 21, 2022.

The application period for undergraduate students who wish to be readmitted closes on August 1, 2022.

On August 17, 2022, the university will begin accepting applications from new first-year undergraduate students for the next fall semester.

According to the academic calendar for 2022–2023 at UCSD, waitlists will begin again on August 26, 2022.

On August 27, 2022, enrollment will once again be available to all undergraduate students.

On September 2, 2022, your billing statement will be made available on TritonLink (eBill will be available for students who are continuing in the programme).

On the same day, the cutoff for dropping classes without receiving a “W” grade on the transcript is imposed on all students (undergraduate and graduate students).

The deadline for undergraduate students to discontinue a course and get a “W” mark on their transcript is November 4, 2022.

Thanksgiving Break at UC San Diego will begin on Thursday, November 24, and end on Friday, November 25, 2022.

The last day of the fall semester is on Friday, December 2, 2022.

The UCSD Fall Final Exams will begin on Saturday, December 3, 2022, and continue through Saturday, December 10, 2022.

The deadline to submit paperwork for “Removal of Grade Incomplete” from the preceding quarter is set for Saturday, December 10, 2022.

The Fall Quarter will come to a close on the 10th of December 2022.

The date of December 12, 2022, is the cutoff for submitting a request to obtain a grade of “Incomplete.”

The academic calendar for the winter term of 2023 at UC San Diego

The Winter Quarter of the UCSD academic year consists of 58 days and 48 days of teaching. The following is a list of other significant events and deadlines that can be found on the academic calendar for the winter quarter of 2023 at UC San Diego (UCSD enrollment calendar).

The application for readmission must be submitted by November 1, 2022. (undergraduate students).

On November 7, 2022, enrollment will commence for both new students and those who will be continuing their studies.

On December 2, 2022, billing statements will be available on TritonLink, and continuing students will be able to access their eBills.

After this date, a late waiver charge of $50 will be applied every day until the late waiver deadline, which may be seen below. The deadline for the required health insurance waiver for all students is December 9, 2022. According to the academic calendar of UC San Diego, it is also the deadline for students who are receiving financial aid, full-fee waivers, or graduate fellowships/scholarships to notify the university that they will not be attending the university even though they are eligible for these types of benefits.

The last day to submit a waiver request for a late health insurance premium is December 16, 2022; exemptions will no longer be accepted after this date.
