Students who attend ASU in person will begin registration on February 24, 2022, while students who attend ASU online will begin registration on February 25, 2022.
$50.00 The Late Registration Fee will become effective on August 10, 2022 for Session A and Session C, and on October 4, 2022 for Session B. This fee will not apply to students enrolled in ASU Online.
First-year students at the University of Arizona and Arizona State University will be able to move in between the dates of August 11 and August 15, 2022. (Freshmen). The day of move-in for students in the Upper Division will take place between August 16 and August 18, 2022. If you will be arriving at University Housing on Monday, August 23, 2022 after 5 p.m., you are expected to alert University Housing by sending an email from your @asu.edu email account by the deadline of August 6, 2022. The date for the automatic enrollment in the ASU Payment Plan is August 29, 2022.
For Session A (beginning August 19, 2022), Session C (beginning August 24, 2022), and Session B (beginning October 13, 2022), the final day to register or drop/add without college clearance is August 19, 2022.
The deadline for filing a petition about residency classification is August 24th, 2022.
The deadline for receiving a full refund of tuition and fees for Session A is August 24, 2022; the deadline for Session B is October 18, 2022; and the deadline for Session C is August 31, 2022.

The dates for the beginning of the spring semester at ASU in 2022 are January 10 and May 7. The following is a list of the significant events and due dates that appear on the academic calendar for the spring semester of 2022 at Arizona State University.
The schedule of classes for the Spring 2023 semester at ASU will be made public on September 20, 2022. (tentative).
Registration for the Spring 2023 semester will commence on September 27, 2022 for students attending ASU Online and on October 17, 2022 (tentatively) for students attending ASU in-person.

The deadline for submitting a residence classification petition is January 15, 2023.
